Service · Maintenance and operations
Software in safe hands.
Faro takes over and looks after existing systems for businesses. Bugs get fixed, dependencies stay current and the system stays up. The price is a fixed monthly fee agreed on the size of the system, and a single point of contact you can call.
Typical situations
The supplier has gone
The developer who built the system has moved on, and nobody dares touch the code.
The system has stalled
It works, but upgrades have been put off for so long that every change is a risk.
Nobody owns operations
Certificates, upgrades and monitoring happen when someone happens to remember.
How a takeover works
-
01
Review
Casper goes through the code, hosting and documentation and gives a written assessment of the system's state and what should happen first.
-
02
Safeguards
Access, monitoring and an overview of operations are put in place, so no change is made blindly.
-
03
Ongoing operations
From there the system is looked after: bug fixes, upgrades, security and the small improvements that make daily work easier.
What the agreement covers
- Bug fixes within an agreed response time
- Upgrades of languages, frameworks and dependencies
- Security updates and monitoring
- Hosting, or working with your current hosting provider
- Small improvements that don't need a project of their own
Pricing
A fixed monthly fee, agreed on the size of the system and the response time you need. Larger changes are billed hourly or as a scoped task with an estimate.
